1. Who We Are

upranked.io is a bilingual growth consultancy operated by Sam, working across four areas: SEO and AI search visibility, AI solutions, custom business tools, and tailored bilingual websites. We serve businesses in Egypt, Dubai, the GCC, Europe and the US.

2. Information You Give Us

We collect information you provide voluntarily when you:

Submit a contact or enquiry form (name, email, phone, business details)
Request the free APEX Diagnostic or any other engagement
Correspond with us by email or WhatsApp

If you engage us, we also process whatever data the work itself requires — for example access to your website, analytics accounts, or the business data a custom tool is built around. That access is used only to deliver the agreed work, and is returned or revoked at the end of the engagement on request.

3. Analytics and Cookies

This website runs two analytics tools. Both set cookies in your browser, and both are loaded on every page:

Google Analytics 4 — measures pages viewed, how you arrived, approximate location (country or city level, derived from your IP address), device and browser, and whether you clicked a contact button or submitted a form. Data is processed by Google.
Microsoft Clarity — records how pages are used, including clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and can replay anonymised sessions so we can see where a page confuses people. Data is processed by Microsoft.

We use these to understand which pages are useful and which are not. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from analytics data, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not combine analytics data with the contact details you submit.

You can refuse or delete these cookies through your browser settings, and browser privacy controls or extensions will block both tools. Nothing on this site stops working if you do. Google and Microsoft publish their own privacy terms for the data they process.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Who Else Processes Your Data

We keep this list short on purpose. Your data may be processed by: Google (Analytics, and email where you contact us at a Gmail address), Microsoft (Clarity), and Netlify, which hosts this website and receives contact form submissions. Each acts as a processor for the specific function described.

6. Data Retention

We keep contact and project data for as long as needed to deliver your engagement and meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete it. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention periods set by Google and Microsoft. You may ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing uprankedio@gmail.com.

7. Your Rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, stop using it, or send you a copy in a portable format. Email uprankedio@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days, free of charge. You never have to give a reason.

The section below sets out the UAE law those rights sit under. It adds to the rights above rather than replacing them.

8. UAE Data Protection Law

Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data gives you the right to request access to your data, ask for it to be corrected or erased, restrict or object to how it is processed, request it in a portable form, and withdraw consent at any time. Use the email address in section 7 and the same 30-day commitment applies.

Some of the providers listed in section 5 process data outside the UAE, because those services are operated internationally. That transfer is limited to what the service needs in order to function.

If you are outside the UAE, your own country's data protection law may give you further rights. Contact us the same way and we will honour them.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the services or the tools behind this website change. Material changes are reflected in the date at the top of this page.
